"Homespun Pumpkin Pies Primitive" ~ 12" Penny Rug ~ Candle Mat ~ Wool Felt Fall

The sweetest pumpkin pies are so cute on this 12" penny rug that is just right for fall. . .plenty of space in the center for display and will easily accommodate a large jar candle or pillar/tray . . .will take a display base of up to 5 1/4" to sit in the center . . .the center is a really cute pumpkin spice pumpkin check homespun in a 100% cotton. . .I have hand appliqued this to a black felted wool felt background and then mat is backed with this black . . .the "pie tins" are done in a silver felted wool felt . . .the "pie filling" is done in a nice rust called "Copper Kettle" and then the "pie crust" is a tan or camel felted wool felt . . .I have done decorative stitching on the pies for the "vents" . . .in between the pies are jute twine bows that I have stitched securely to the mat and then adorned with a rusty tin bell . . .beautiful quality handmade item . . always better in person to appreciate the hand work . . .PLEASE NOTE:  this mat is pictured laying on top of a plaid runner that is not included in this auction  . . .my own design and done entirely by hand by me. . .please see my excellent feedback for penny rugs and quilts - many wonderful and LOVED repeat buyers who keep me stitching
