"Home Spun Acorn Primitive & Rusty Bells" ~ 8" Penny Rug ~ Candle Mat ~ Fall

Wonderful detailing on this 8" penny rug and it is a cute one. . .a nice home spun primitive for the autumn season . . .the center is best for a small jar or votive candle display . . .makes a thoughtful hostess gift paired with a little glass jar or tin of autumn treats . . .the center is a fun brown and tan 100% cotton home spun that I have hand appliqued to a "fresh linen" colored felted wool felt . . .this sits on a milk chocolate brown felted wool felt and mat is backed with this brown . . .the acorns are tan felted wool felt with milk chocolate "tops"  . .  . I have decoratively hand stitched the acorn tops . . .in between the acorns are jute twine bows that have been stitched securely to the mat and then accented with a rusty tin bell . . .these bells have some kind of a coating on them so they don't seem to drop "rusty dust" . . .beautiful quality handmade item. . .my own design and done entirely by hand by me. . .please see my excellent feedback for penny rugs and quilts - many wonderful and LOVED repeat buyers who keep me stitching
