INCLUDES A LARGE SHANK MOUTHPIECE AND A CASE
This is not your standard used instrument.
Restoration includes old finish chemically stripped off,
completely taken apart, dents removed, carefully reassembled, carefully polished and your choice of finishes applied.
It will look and play great!
The restoration is done by a respected local shop with over 40 years experience
in woodwind and brass instrument restorations and repairs.
Some of their employees worked at the H.N. White and King factories in Cleveland and Eastlake, Ohio.
One employee started working at the HN White Company in 1957!
I have personally used this company for over 10 years for my adult band members and myself.
I had this shop overhaul and silver plate my
“baby” – a 1971 Besson professional euphonium and for me that’s like trusting someone to operate on your kid.
(I’ve had the horn longer than my kids!)
It really looks great and actually plays better than when I bought it new in college.

It is an extremely versatile instrument.
The 5B produces a nice full warm tone, but can be as bright as you need when pushed.
With a 6-1/2AL or similar mouthpiece you can do anything from solo to 3
rd
trombone concert or symphonic work.  A 4 or 5G size takes advantage of the 9" bell yielding a large, warm tone that is great for solo or symphonic playing.  If 3
rd
parts are your thing, a 1-1/2G bass trombone mouthpiece allows you to really bang out the low notes!
The King 5B is an outstanding all around trombone
for solo and concert band or symphonic work.

Horns must be returned prepaid, fully insured against loss and damage by a carrier that provides tracking.
Horns will be repaired, or replaced with a similar restored instrument if available, at our option and returned at no expense to the buyer.
A store credit towards any instrument in my eBay store can also be issued if the customer prefers.
