Vtg. Japanese Cast Iron Dancing Figurine Gold Geisha Kimono Dancer Otagiri MCM

Up for sale is a stunning pair of Japanese figurines.  These figurines depict Japanese women in Kimonos who appear to be dancing.  They are made of cast iron with a gold metallic patina.  There is a sticker/label on the bottom of one which reads OMC Japan.  The OMC stands for the Otagiri Manufacturing Company.  Otagiri is well known for its production of a variety of Tiki mugs.  I am not the original owner so I do not know exactly when these figures were made.  I would estimate that they were likely made sometime mid-century.  There is some wear to the finish on these so please view all of the photos for more detailed size and condition.  Quite and unusual and beautiful pair of Japanese figurines with a wonderful modern look!!
