Visconti Kaleido Voyager Fountain Pen - Yellow Dawn, 18k Two-tone Medium Nib
This is a first edition Kaleido Voyager by Visconti, done in the "yellow dawn" (really more of an orange) acryloid. Rather than the later Ponte Vecchio clip found on the rebooted Voyager line, this earlier edition has a springy gold clip reminiscent of the leg of a dog or horse. The gold band on the cap has the Visconti V's punched out such that the cap underneath is visible through them; the later edition's band is solid. The pen has a beautiful Visconti Firenze two-tone 18K gold nib and 18K gold trim. The pen is used, but would be in excellent condition except that the band on the section is tarnished and scuffed and has lost much of its luster. The pen has been water tested and deemed functional. The converter had previously been inked, but has been thoroughly flushed and cleaned. The inkwell comes in a leather slipcase. It has three chambers: a storage chamber for powdered inks, a mixing chamber, and the inkwell itself. The inkwell and its leather case are in very good condition.
