Visconti Van Gogh Orchard in Blossom Fountain Pen
Vincent Van Gogh is considered one of the most important painters in art history. Inspired by the famous artist, Visconti re-imagined his colors, textures and emotions to create their world famous Van Gogh collection.
Shortly after arriving in the city of Arles, in the south of France, Van Gogh became intrigued by the flowering fruit trees that populated the orchards there in the spring of 1888. He began to paint many flowering fruit trees like peach, almond, apricot, and peach.
Orchards in Blossom is dated April 1888 and is thought to depict plum trees in full bloom. This beautiful painting is currently on display at the Scottish National Museum, Edinburgh.
Made from natural resin mixed uniquely to represent palettes of oil paint, this Visconti Van Gogh series is inspired by the artist's color and technique. Each pen represents a specific Van Gogh painting. The pen utilizes Visconti's eighteen-faceted design, with the many edges enhancing its vivid colors.
