Considered by many art historians to be one of Van Gogh's most famous paintings, Wheatfield with Crows is often incorrectly thought of as the last painting by the reknowned artist. This belief stemmed from the subject matter and use of color in the painting conveying a tumultuous sky and the end of the path with looming crows overhead. Wheatfield with Crows, dated July 1890, now resides in Amsterdam at the Van Gogh Museum.
