Ragtime was the first American musical genre and it gave rise to the enduring popularity and genius of Jazz. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Visconti has now updated the original Ragtime styling in an elegant, hand-crafted limited edition. Ragtime Anniversary is a limited edition and numbered on the basis of the company foundation year: 1988. The Pens are created from acryloid, blended with gold powder which gives stunning light; honey and brown swirled waves, and amber shades that perfectly match golden trims.The Fountain Pen has a 14k gold nib Medium in size and is engraved with the 20th Anniversary logo and the years 1998-2008.The fountain pen is piston filled.The roller has a removable cap, and the ballpoint has a twist-action system.
A matching number set of an edition of 1988. Only the first 1000 featured this brilliant desk pen case with three cabochon top discs and a special My Pen System tool, for personalizing the writing instruments.
This Ragtime Matching number set has never been used and has been safely kept in our vault. It comes in an elegant briarwood display case which features two sliding drawers with 5 places each, and a front rolling shutter.
