Visconti Homo Sapiens Chiantishire Limited Edition No. 463/888.
This Visconti pen is made with special manufacturing techniques and prestigious materials which they have developed.
This pen
comes equipped with a double reservoir filling system and a 23kt PD950 palladium Dreamtouch nib.
The Dreamtouch nib has a slight spring to it which makes for smooth, effortless writing.
Note the nib has been professionally ground to a
non-factory crisp italic
which I
measured as .85mm with a Mitutoyo caliper. Please see writing sample.
The pen is in excellent condition as it should be considering it appears to have seen little use other than being previously dipped using Visconti brand ink—red originally and black for the writing sample.
I have flushed it with cool distilled water which can be seen in photographs of the barrel.
At the base of the barrel there can be seen a black ring made by the plunger. I do not know what causes it, but I have occasionally seen it in other Visconti pens. This does not in any way affect the function of the pen
reservoir and if using a darker ink, it cannot be seen.
Contains all original paperwork, new bottle of Visconti blue ink, and substantial wooded box.
The shipping weight on this package is just over 4 pounds.
