The Visconti Collection "The Hanoveran" is the first series of writing instruments presented by Visconti, which adresses not only collectors of rare writing instruments, but also and particularly horse friends.
Designed and manufactured on the high level of italian arts and crafts, this series is dedicated to the outstanding personalities of this horse breed being certainly the most significant in the world.
It is Visconti's tradition to symbolize historical periods, events and the persons having influenced them in special editions of pens; it is also tradition to use classic materials and technologies out of the history of fountain pens.
The GIGOLO series is made of black lucite, the barrel is covered with sterling silver overlay, depicting an engraved image of a seated rider performing dressage on a majestic Hanoverian horse.
The nib is made 14 carat gold, partially rhodinated, so that only the hanoveran brand appears in gold.
The pen is filled by a piston mechanism. Clip and trims are made of solid steling silver.
Excellent condition, not inked, some patina. Outer box, leatherdisplay box, specific booklet.
The editions GIGOLO is limited to 500 pieces worldwide. Scarce.
