VINTAGE/ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SEWING BIRD "THIRD HAND" CLAMP PIN CUSHION JAPAN 13798

Description

Beautifully detailed vintage/antique sewing bird, measuring approximately 5 inches from the bottom of the "key" to the top of the bird's head; approximately 3 3/4 inches wide. The pincushion is made from a corduroy type fabric that is softly age faded and worn due to age and use.  The smaller pincushion that would be on top of the bird is missing.  Marked on the inner edge of the C clamp, "JAPAN 13798".
ITEM CONDITION DESCRIPTION:  Good sturdy condition.  Missing upper pin cushion. "Key" that turns to attach clamp to the table works smoothly.
