Vintage trombone mouthpiece vega special (From the Al Cass collection)

Description

Old Vega Special Trombone Mouthpiece. Needs to be cleaned up. Pretty rare mouthpiece, it may have writing on it but I'm not sure, could have been used by a famous musician as it came from the collection of Al Cass, the player probably gave Al Cass this mouthpiece when he got one of Al Cass' during a consultation. (John Coffey?(played a Vega at some point) while in the Boston Symphony). Who knows who this could have belonged to? Thanks
