Up for sale is this vintage Kutani porcelain sleeping cat figurine. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This lovely figurine is approximately 6 3/16 inches long, 3 5/8 inches wide, and 2 3/4 inches tall. It is white, with a colorful bow and gold-gilt decoration. This figural piece would be a fine addition to a collection of vintage Asian decorative arts.
Identification
This Japanese porcelain cat is signed on the bottom. It is vintage, but the exact age is not known.
Condition
The cat looks good overall, with no chips or cracks to the porcelain. It has light wear overall, with some wear to the gold. There are a couple of very minor small bits of missing rusty red paint. The wooden base is not included. Please review the description and photos, and ask any necessary questions prior to bidding or buying.
