Full Hallmarked Edinburgh 1960
A WONDERFULLY DESIGNED SCOTTISH CELTIC SILVER BROOCH
IT HAS BEEN MADE IN THE IONA STYLE BY EDINBURGH SILVERSMITHS
THE WARD BROTHERS. IT HAS A UNIQUE SHAPE OF SEVEN SCALLOPED
SIDES WITH PANELS DEPICTING A SNAKE KNOT PATTERN. AT THE CENTRE IS A VIKING
SHIP SURROUNED BY A ROPE TWIST CIRCLE.
TO THE BACK IT IS FULLY HALLMARKED WITH THE
MAKERS MARK WBs - WARD BROTHERS
