    Description

A pair of vintage hand-painted porcelain statues of Asian (Chinese?) people doing a traditional dance. Manufactured by Lefton sometime between 1953 and 1971. They have serial numbers, KW1704A(man) and KW1704B(woman). The male statue also has "1704" impressed in the porcelain; it's to the upper-left of the logo as seen in picture #12.
Great condition, there are no chips or cracks. The only noticeable defect is the woman's left eye. The paint has faded so she looks half-blind, as seen in picture #14.
(They do stand up on their own, see picture #2. I just laid them sideways to take better photos)
When I bought these from original owner, they were sold as "11 inches high". I don't know what ruler that guy used, the people are 8 inches tall and their hat/hairdo adds another half inch.
**Sold as-is, no returns. Payment due within 4 days after auction ends. Feel free to ask questions, but I am not an antiques expert. Pretty much everything I know about this item is in the description above. Ships via Priority Mail, shipping charge will vary depending on delivery address. No international shipping.**
    I am not
responsible for any damage caused by shipping/handling. When packaged, the statues were in the condition pictured. I have cushioned them as best I can, I have marked the box FRAGILE, that is all I can do. Please be aware of the risk involved when shipping porcelain, because I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS FOR ANY REASON.
