Vintage Laboratory/Apothecary Metric/AP Brass Weight Set—Mahogany Box

Beautiful antique laboratory/apothecary Metric/AP weight set. Solid mahogany box contains 17 brass weights, fractionals, grain and a pair of brass tweezers.
Box measures 6 3/8 long x 4" deep x 2" tall. Metric weights are 1x50 gram, 1x20 gram, 2x10 gram, 1x5 gram, 2x2 gram and 1x1 gram. AP weights are 2 oz, 1oz, 1/2oz, 2 dram, 1/4, 1 dram, 1/2 dram, 2 scruples and 1 scruple. 3 grain weights and fractionals ranging from 500mg to 10mg. Pair of brass tweezers. Original padded purple velvet on the inside of the lid. Box was cleaned and refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Box is constructed of 3/8" thick mahogany and assembled using the barefaced housing joint. Cork pads protect bottom. Great for a collection or to use. Shipping weight approximately 2 pounds.
