Vintage JAX of Maine Wooden Box Handcrafted Jack In The Box CLOWN detailed face!
Handmade box (maple?) with red button that releases the spring clown
In excellent condition, very little wear noted, some loss of paint on nose but minor.
Has tag on bag showing the Jax name and c. 1985
Signed Jax on bottom.
Box is 4.5 inches high, box and clown are 12 inches high including his mop of orange hair
His face looks hand drawn and hand painted, so expressive.
