Vintage Japanese Porcelain Geisha Doll Dancing with Golden Fans

Description

Beautiful, life-like porcelain Geisha statuette. Light, pastel blue kimono painted with white flowers and gold branches. Obi is grey with vertical multi-colored stripes. Dancing fans are gold with ebony spokes. Her face is delicately formed and her hair is intricately styled with various vintage style ornaments. Approximately 14 inches tall and 12 inches across tip to tip of each fan. purchased in Nagoya, Japan 1961. Two flaws: Small smudge on back folds of kimono and chip on back side of left fan (see last 2 photos).
