    These two guardians represent prosperity, balance, and protection in the Japanese and Chinese cultures. When two are shown together, one is usually a male and the other female. These shi shi figures are decorated in traditional Kutani style with gold highlights. The features are detailed and expressive.
    These statues will make an inspired gift or wonderful addition to your personal collection. There is a Japanese artist mark at the bottom.
