VINTAGE JAPANESE GIRL'S DAY DOLL SET

Description

An uncle brought this set to me from Japan in 1949.  I have been told that it is from Okinawa.  It is rare to see a set with the temple.  This set was not played with, but has been boxed, moved, and displayed many times, and this has affected the condition.  The picture of the black parts are pieces that do not go together, but must have been a part of something at one time.  Ebay only allows 12 pictures or I would add more.  There is staining on the back of the folding backdrop, and on one of the green wooden pieces.  There are indentations on some parts where they have been pushed in, such as the folding backdrop.  One of the lamp pieces has deteriorated and can be seen in the pictures.  One of the small boy dolls has the hair missing on one side of the head.
