Vintage Japanese Cigarette Case w/ Metal Inlay Scenes Mt. Fuji & Island Village

This is a Rare Vintage Japanese Cigarette Case, with a gold colored metal inlay over the top of a black background. The case measures 3 ½” x 3” x ½” thick. The gold colored image on the front is of an Island Home or Village on stilts, with a bridge to the mainland. The images on the back are of; Mt. Fuji; 3 boat sails; and 2 hummingbirds. The back also has the artists Japanese makers mark. The edges have a gold colored paint. The lid is hinged, and there is a clasp that keeps the lid closed. Inside there is a black elastic strap on each side, meant to keep the cigarettes in place. Other than the makers mark on the back, I can see no other makers information. The item is in Great condition, with only extremely light wear, and I’m not sure how strong the elastic straps still are because of its age.
