Vintage Czech Art Deco Era Scarab Beetle Fly Dress Clip Egyptian Revival
Here's an incredible Czech scarab dress clip from the Art Deco Era. The clip layered in two pieces and has red, green, and blue enamel with 6 beaded red and light blue cabochons. I'm not 100% sure but this could possibly be attributed to the Neiger Brothers from the Gablonz area. This striking statement piece would look great worn on a collar or attached to a torque necklace and worn as a pendant.
Hallmark: Not signed.
Measurements: Length - 1.90 inches, Width - 1.35 inches.
Closure: decorative openwork clip - it is still tightly attached and has great tension.
Condition: In very good vintage condition. See the photos as there is some wear to the enameling and a patina on the metal. Still a beautiful and striking piece even with the wear and patina.
