Additional Info:
There is speckled lacquer wear throughout but it has really great dark lacquer on it.  The rim of the bell does have a little bit of oxidation in a few spots (see pics).  The slide lock mechanism has some bent metal but it still works.  As stated above the slide catches at first position and moves relatively well after that given the horns age.  We are not sure but it looks like the inner slides are possibly not plated and is a raw brass inside.  It is kind of hard to tell because it is such an aged instrument but that is what it looks like.  The tuning slide is loose and this is a compression fit bell.
This is a really cool trombone!  This would make for a very cool collectors piece.

This instrument is currently in
Playing condition but it is a very old horn and the slide is sticky at first position.  Getting back into and leaving first position is a little harder but the rest works well considering the age of the horn.
The Finish:
It has approximately 70-75% of the lacquered finish with speckled lacquer wear throughout.  It is a pretty dark lacquer.
Player Wear:
Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings)
Slide Condition:
Medium general wear (moves but catches around 1st position with visible surface scratches on the outside slide sleeves) the rest of it moves relatively freely.
Re-soldering:
One or two (see pics) see the slide lock bar.
Metal Condition:
No broken or patched metal
Tuning Slide Bow Condition:
Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings)
Slide Tip (Crook) Bow Condition:

Incomplete Return:
The item will be inspected upon return and if any original parts or pieces are missing you will be contacted to send the missing items back.  If you are unable to return the missing item/part, you forfeit the refund.  All partial items that have been returned will also be forfeited and will be the property of Musical Instrument City.

Damage during Outbound Shipping:
In the unfortunate chance your item is damaged, the following procedure must be followed exactly in order to process a refund. Failure to comply with the following procedures constitutes a violation of the return policy and therefore a refund will not be given. Please contact us immediately. Save everything, including the box, packing materials, and shipping label. Without the original box and packing materials, a claim cannot be made, and a refund will not be issued. Take a full set of pictures so the damage can be assessed. Don’t send anything back yet until we contact our insurance company.  We will tell you when you may ship the item back.  Please see instructions for return shipping below. If it is determined that the item was damaged in shipping, we will send you a return shipping label via eBay Messages.  Refunds will not be issued for merchandise, which has been damaged while in your possession.

Damage during Return Shipping:
The item will be inspected upon return and if the item is damaged during return shipping, we will contact you so you can file an insurance claim.  Because you are the shipper, we cannot initiate a claim.  Depending upon how much damage was sustained you may only get a partial refund or no refund due to the damage.
Instructions for Return Shipping:

Be sure all original parts of the item purchased are included before you return it.

In order to receive a refund our policy requires you to put insurance on the item for its return shipping.

Please use the original packing material and box.  Please use original packing material inside the case around the item.  Also use the original packing material around the case in the box to protect the item from shipping damage. If your item does not have a case, please use all packing material that the item came with to protect the item from shipping damage.

Uninsured packages or items shipped “COD” or “Shipping Due” will be refused and a refund will not be issued.

Once the item is received, we will conduct a physical inspection. This inspection will determine your eligibility for a refund.
