Vintage 1956 Carry Me Back to Old Virginia Souvenir Booklet Excellent Condition!

Description

This is a vintage souvenir booklet entitled "Carry Me Back to Old Virginia", from my grandparents' trip to Virginia.   Printed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Division of Public Relations and Advertising in Richmond, Virginia.
Do not confuse it with versions from subsequent decades, that have the same name and cover.  If in doubt about which version you have, check the verbiage on the inside front cover (as visible in the photos). The first line invites you to visit Jamestown VA, the birthplace of the nation, and participate in "The Jamestown Festival of 1957".  The last line says "Come to Virginia in 1957 and join other
Americans
in celebrating your Nation's Birthday Party!" to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the establishment of the first English settlement in America.
Useful for light historical research or as a vintage memento of major Virginia landmarks.
The front cover features a color sketch of Monticello (Thomas Jefferson's home).  The back shows a beach scene with 1950's style swimwear.  The colors are still vivid because this was stored in a document box, away from light, for the past 60+ years.

The souvenir booklet is 52-pages long and measures approximately 6.5" x 9.5".
It is in Excellent condition, especially for its age, with bright unfaded colors and no markings, stains, tears, folds or creases.
