  • Condition: This trombone has dents, wear, and tarnish as expected from a horn this old. It also requires soldering in two places to reattach the main bell to the piece the mouthpiece attaches to. The rounded end of the slide is dented in somewhat and the spit valve is not centered over the hole.

    Description

    This antique 1904 Silver Plated CG Conn Trombone
    is in need of restoration. It has "MADE BY C.G. CONN ELKHART IND" written on its embellished bell. The serial number is 85828.
    This trombone has dents, wear, and tarnish as expected from a horn this old. It also requires soldering in two places to reattach the main bell to the piece the mouthpiece attaches to. The rounded end of the slide is dented in somewhat and the spit valve is not centered over the hole. The bell flange is dented flat in some areas. The slide is in good working condition. There is no mouthpiece included.
    It comes with a large sturdy case which is velvet padded inside. There are no special innards that hold the trombone in place. The outside shows wear and tape has been applied in some areas.
