Trombone YSL448-G.
This Trombone is very dear to me, but as I don’t play anymore I’ve decided to part with it. As stated, it’s a Yamaha YSL448-G, however this trombone has been customized with a silver plated finish on the main bell section and the slide, as well as with gold accents on m the main tuning slide, f-attachment tuning slide and the inner slide handle/lead-pipe. This is an intermediate trombone, but I used it often during college with absolutely no problems. It does have some small scuffs on the bell flare (those will easily buff out) and some normal wear in the lacquering of gold plated sections that were handled often. I would also add that if you purchase this trombone, it may arrive with some white/yellow-ish looking oxidation on the silver plated sections. This is normal, as silver is a very reactive metal and it cannot be lacquered without ruining the finish. I will do my best to clean it before shipping, but if it arrives with some discoloration don’t be alarmed, a good silver jewelry polishing cloth (or silver polishing compound) and a few minutes of elbow grease will have to looking new again!
