Roland Francis, a mild-mannered silk salesman, finds himself a target for marriage-minded women, who believe him to be good husband material. Pretty young Ann Winton, after being dared by her brother-in-law, invites Roland to dinner and a night on the town in Greenwich Village, and Roland accepts. However, he has no idea what kind of adventure is in store for him.
