Pincushion dolls are also known as "half dolls". They are made from porcelain, and most are from the 1920's, although there are a few around, like this one, that are older! This sweet girl is from around 1890! She was made in Germany, and is marked on the back. She is an "arms away" - both arms are away from her body. Her fingers are ... all there! Amazing that they have lasted all these years without getting broken! She was cold painted - the paint was added after she was fired. Her face is lovely, and her hair is good; she did, however, have paint on her dress that is ALL gone! She is 1 7/8" tall, and meant to be sewn into a pin cushion that would form her dress. She is rare - because she is a little girl, and because she is so old! She is lovely and won't disappoint!

Shipping
All items are shipped within 24 hours of payment! I try and recycle packaging materials as much as I can. I hate adding more garbage to the environment; if you receive a box from me that has been used before, I am "recycling". I will make sure it's sturdy and the item well packaged. I will ensure your item will arrive in good condition, but the box may not be pretty (or it might be - I have to buy boxes, as well). All shipping within the US is free to you. All my packages are tracked, but if for some reason you don't receive your item or it arrives broken, I will refund your money.
