cookbook from Colonial Williamsburg entitled "Recipes from the Raleigh Tavern Bake Shop."  This is a pamphlet-style paperback cookbook -- 12th printing (1997). Item is 23+ years old.
Original copyright is 1984- published by Colonial Williamsburg Foundation (which recreates many items with great deal of respect paid to the history of items, relics, recipes and more). A small but noble collection with about 13 recipes, including Indian Corn muffins, pear pie, Queen's Cake and more.  Sweet, thoughtful and historically appropriate gift for baking history lovers!
Purchased in Williamsburg at the Tavern Gift Shop around 1998.
Has been stored in a smoke-free home.  Condensing collection due to a move/downsize. GREAT GIFT IDEA! Perfect anytime surprise for the Colonial Williamsburg aficionado! Would also be great displayed in Colonial Williamsburg Collection.
Front cover and pages are a brown color.
CONDITION SPECIFICS:
Excellent condition, some minor wear from handling (never tried the cookbook recipes) and possible slight overall discoloration of paper due to age (25+ years). VERY MINOR CURLING/TINY COSMETIC IMPERFECTION AT BASE OF BINDING. Raleigh Tavern had some wonderful food!
