    Description

    Offering this pair of lovely, delicate small plates or low (1" deep) saucer bowls.  These are translucent porcelain, with gilded flowers and details, peach colored edge shading, and a few raised tiny details delicately painted white.  6 sided, scalloped, plus edge ribbing.  These are a mystery to me as I've researched and cannot find any similar pieces.  I've shown the backstamp, (Japanese?  Chinese?)which is incised and not colored.  Also shown is a 3/8" edge line which appears to be more of a split than a crack and it's stable.  I would appreciate any knowledgeable feedback on these pieces.
