    Description

    cup-hina
    #o5342,Japanese,Bizen ware, SHUNKO-ENN, Japanese dragon ornament,OKIMONO.
This work is the kiln and the work of SHUNKO-ENN which inherited the achievement of great artisan Shunko Nishimura of Bizen ware.
This work is made with the model of modeling in which Shunko Nishimura excelled most inherited by SHUNKO-ENN.
All SHUNKO-ENN works are calcinated with the huge climbing kiln.
There is very very little kiln currently calcinated with firewood with present-day Bizen ware.
    * Fire works only once or twice per year in SHUNKO-EN.
The Bizen clay of the genuine article deposited on the underground of a now very precious rice field or a pond is being used for the Bizen clay of the genuine article currently used for all the works, refining it for seven years over a long period of time between things.
In present Bizen, the ceramist and kiln which can use these very rare real Bizen clay are very rare.
This work is BIZEN-YAKI RYU OKIMONO (Bizen ware Japan dragon ornament).
Since firewood calcination is made by NOBORI-GAMA kiln, this work has many features of the Bizen ware of a genuine article.
The kiln mark of SHUNKO-ENN is sealed inside this work.
The signed wooden storage boxes and the guide of kiln are attached to this work.
This work is a very good condition also without a crack and a chip in a new article.
All the works are the secured ceramics in which I visited kiln directly, and gave and did direct buying of the explanation from the ceramist.

    Bizen-ware kiln
    :
    SHUNKO-ENN (春湖苑)
Master-hand NISHIMURA-SHUNKO(*1) of Bizen will die in 1953.
By recommendation of people who regret that the achievement ceases,
kiln will be rebuilt on the place of Shunko's death in 1973.
The unfinished work was revitalized and the name was named "Shunko-Enn".
The family treasures of Shunko-Enn are the "gypsum molds" which master-hand Nishimura Shunko placed and handed down to future generations,
such as an incense burner and an ornament. In Shunko-Enn, in order to protect traditional Bizen ware,
the traditional rice field ground is used and the work is burned with the huge climbing kiln.
(Note) In Bizen, acquisition of the rice field ground is difficult and the kiln which burns works with a climbing kiln has decreased now.
Then, it could be said that this kiln is now precious.
