Morrisey of the Smiths (later just...Morrisey) released this absolute labor of love in 1981. Sssoooooo much work went into this softback book.  Articles and pictures from the 1972 to 1974 era. Morrisey brought the New York Dolls back together in 2009 / London. The show did so well the Dolls received a second chance in life and started touring again.
(And I saw them 6 times !!!)
This book is extremely scarce. Original and Scarce
