Up for sale is a New Weril GG282 G. Gagliardi Bb/F Large Bore Trombone
Serial #BP17825
This is a new trombone that we purchased from Gemeinhardt Musical Instrument Company in Elkhart, IN.
To our knowledge they were the last US Importer of Weril instruments before the manufacturing plant in Brazil closed.
This was their showroom testing model.
There are no visible dings or scratches but inside of the bell flare there are 5 itty bitty factory lacquer specs that are visible but very difficult to show up in photos.
Our experience with Weril instruments is they play great.
The finish process was their weak issue when compared to Yamaha, Jupiter and Conn-Selmer finishes.
This was their professional G Gagliardi model with 5 interchangeable screw-in venturi tubes:
T – 2” length
T1 – 8 ¾” length
T2 – 6 7/8” length
T3 – 8 23/32” length
T4 – 11” length

The G. Gagliardi professional trombone was developed by Weril in collaboration with Professor Gilberto Gagliardi who was one of the most renowned and internationally recognized trombonists in Brazil.
