This is an original glass slide (about 4" by 3") for the 1927 romance
The Lovelorn

The Beatrice Fairfax story is fascinating and iconic for the period.  Where else would you turn if
your love life was not what you wanted?  The newspaper, of course!  Newspapers could really
solve stuff back then.  If you fall in love with your sister's boyfriend, your best option is to share
this with a columnist.  Sally has a long and successful career as a leading lady.  That is a 'typewriter'
she is using to write her letter to the paper.  This is how they 'posted' stuff to 'facebook' in 1927.
These slides look great almost anywhere.  I think they are a wonderful and whimsical addition to any window ledge.
Hard to find a more charming or beautiful decorating accent, but they are also wonderful historic icons to collect.
