ABOUT US:
We have decided that’s as of September 20th, 2021 all, yes, 100 %, of Our EBay proceeds will benefit the animals on this farm directly. we own a 78 acre Homestead in rural Michigan and as retired career paramedics we have found our joys in estate sale attending and gardening but mostly in taking in rescued animals from abusive situations, rehomed animals that owners could no longer afford to feed or have passed on and troubled animals who have behavioral problems and working with them, something we started prior to retirement- We are often contacted by others and asked to take them in and while we would love to take them all, retirement has its financial limits, not to mention physical strains and pains (getting older is rough) Perhaps this will help ease the financial strain of their care and feed. At this time we have 4 horses (one who was emaciated when she arrived, the vet and I got her healthy but she’s very old, one with behavioral issues whom now gives kids visiting the farm rides, one who was rescued from bad living conditions and one who is an Off Track Thoroughbred that needed a home), 3 resilient dogs (all from abusive situations), 4 goats that were rehomed here as the owner could no longer keep them, 2 orphaned sheep (we bottle fed them and rehabbed the one back to health), an Alpaca who lost her best friend and has made great friends with the sheep (but she has some special needs as well) several ducks, chickens, quail and rabbits-( all but 15 of the 45 birds here were owner surrendered)- we are NOT a non-profit organization nor a for profit farm.... we are a privately funded rescue farm and merely are honest hard working caregivers and have taken them all in and on with their age, health, care and feed well in the forefront of our minds. We sincerely just want to ensure they have the best we can offer always just as we do our buyers who help support them!
