Late 1700's Wood Shoe with Heart Design in Sole Sewing Pin Cushion!
This wonderful little wood shoe dates to the late 18th Century. I believe that it is a pin cushion that is missing its cushion "pillow" which would have fit into the hole in the top! Most likely this disintegrated over time. The sole and heal of the shoe have interesting decoration using small brass nails, including a wonderful heart!
This shoe is approximately 4" long x 1" wide x 1 3/4" tall. It is hand fashioned out of a single piece of wood!
It is in good to very good condition
