    Description

    You are being offered a Vintage Japanese Solid and Heavy Porcelain Figurine modeled as Ninomiya Sontoku (born Ninomiya Kinjiro), a prominent 19th Century Japanese Agricultural Leader, Philosopher, Moralist and Economist, who is depicted as a Young Man carrying a load of Firewood on his Back while he is reading a Book and the Figurine is Hand Painted and decorated with Satsuma Style Moriage Slip Tailing and Beading. We believe it was made in Kutani during the Early Showa Period, circa 1926-1939. The Figurine stands 13 Ginches high and its Base measures 4 inches long and 4 inches wide. The Figurine also is in Very Good to Excellent Condition, without any chips, cracks, scratches or losses. Please refer to the photographs on the left for further details.
