King 2B Liberty Valve Trombone Ser#617054 Killer King Sound Needs Small Repair
Additional Information:
This is a super great valve trombone and all it needs is a tiny little repair over the small break in the metal of the tubing that leaves the first valve (see pics) and it will be all set to go!  The valves are incredibly quick and smooth.  When we test played the horn all we had to do was press a thumb against the break to stop the leak and the horn played absolutely beautifully!  It had that stellar King 2B sound where it just zings.  It projects wonderfully and plays very well in tune.  Once you have the tiny break fixed this should be an awesome valve trombone!

Playing Condition:
This instrument is currently in Playing condition but here is a tiny break in the tubing that leaves the first valve that needs to be repaired/patched (see pics). We were able to put a finger over it while playing to stop the leak and the horn played fantastically!
The Finish:
It has approximately 80-85% of the lacquered finish with some light oxidation on the slide.
Player Wear:
Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings)
Valve Condition:
All the valves are in good working condition and all of the tuning slides are loose
Valve Information:
The valves are smooth and have fantastic action!
Lead Pipe Condition:
Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings) there is a patch on the lead pipe in between the first and second valves (see pics).
Metal Condition:
There is a patch on the lead pipe in between the first and second valves (see pics).  There is a tiny break in the tubing that leaves the first valve that needs to be repaired/patched (see pics).
Tuning Slide Bow Condition:
Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings)
Slide Tip (Crook) Bow Condition:
Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings)
The Bell:
Minor dents and dings and minor bell edge damage (See Pics)
Bell Dent Removal/Repair:
Light evidence (See Pics)
Re-soldered:
Several (See Pics) The bottom tubing of the first valve tuning slide has popped its solder from the tubing that inserts into the bell (see pics).

Incomplete Return:
The item will be inspected upon return and if any original parts or pieces are missing you will be contacted to send the missing items back.  If you are unable to return the missing item/part, you forfeit the refund.  All partial items that have been returned will also be forfeited and will be the property of Musical Instrument City.

Damage during Outbound Shipping:
In the unfortunate chance your item is damaged, the following procedure must be followed exactly in order to process a refund. Failure to comply with the following procedures constitutes a violation of the return policy and therefore a refund will not be given. Please contact us immediately. Save everything, including the box, packing materials, and shipping label. Without the original box and packing materials, a claim cannot be made, and a refund will not be issued. Take a full set of pictures so the damage can be assessed. Don’t send anything back yet until we contact our insurance company.  We will tell you when you may ship the item back.  Please see instructions for return shipping below. If it is determined that the item was damaged in shipping, we will send you a return shipping label via eBay Messages.  Refunds will not be issued for merchandise, which has been damaged while in your possession.

Damage during Return Shipping:
The item will be inspected upon return and if the item is damaged during return shipping, we will contact you so you can file an insurance claim.  Because you are the shipper, we cannot initiate a claim.  Depending upon how much damage was sustained you may only get a partial refund or no refund due to the damage.

Be sure all original parts of the item purchased are included before you return it.

In order to receive a refund our policy requires you to put insurance on the item for its return shipping.

Please use the original packing material and box.  Please use original packing material inside the case around the item.  Also use the original packing material around the case in the box to protect the item from shipping damage. If your item does not have a case, please use all packing material that the item came with to protect the item from shipping damage.

Uninsured packages or items shipped “COD” or “Shipping Due” will be refused and a refund will not be issued.

Once the item is received, we will conduct a physical inspection. This inspection will determine your eligibility for a refund.
