This hand colored glass slide is an ORIGINAL and it is NOT a reproduction. It was created to be projected onto the movie theatre screen before the film was released to promote the "coming attraction". Some people in the movie collectible world have said, that, glass slides are much rarer than the paper poster memorabilia from the same film and are very rare pieces of film history.

Plot Summary:
Fifteen-year-old Penelope "Penny" Woods dreams of being a writer, only she's concerned that she needs more life experience to work into her stories. She takes a liking to her uncle's friend Roger, a dashing but conceited college student who seems to have it all, and dreams of a big grown-up romance, but eventually his true colors are revealed. In the end, she realizes she'd rather spend time with her longtime friend Chuck, who's following his dream of being an aeronautical engineer.
Trivia:
The screenplay was written by Gladys Lehman and Karen DeWolf based on the play June Mad by Florence Ryerson and Colin Clements.

Jane Withers is an actress from the 1930s to the 2000s. She started in juvenile roles and was a major star in the mid-1930s, and she successfully transitioned to adolescent and later adult roles. Some of her movies include: Paddy O'Day, Giant, and Shooting High. As of 2020, she is still alive at the age of 93!

Jackie Cooper was a famous juvenile actor in the 1920s and 1930s, who moved into directing and producing, and also did much TV in the 1950s. In later years, he resurfaced as an actor in the Superman movies as Perry White! Some of his movies include: Superman, Skippy (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), and Treasure Island, The Navy Comes Through. He also starred in the TV series "The People's Choice" in the 1950s. He passed away in 2011 at the age of 88.

Edith Fellows was a mostly juvenile actress from 1929 to 1954. Her grandmother was tricked into thinking she could get her granddaughter into show business for , and she went to Hollywood with her, but it was a fake. But fortunately, she went to an audition in 1929 and got the part! She had many juvenile roles in the 1930s, with the best one in "Pennies From Heaven" in 1936. The highlight of her career was in a series of four films for Columbia about the "Five Little Peppers" in 1939 and 1940. Because she never grew past 4 foot 10 inches, she continued playing juvenile roles until 1955, when she essentially retired. In 1981, she returned to acting as a supporting actress on TV and she passed away in 2011 at the age of 88.

Edgar Buchanan was an actor from the 1930s to the 1970s. He is likely best remembered for his role as Uncle Joe on TV's "Petticoat Junction". Some of his movies include: Benji, McLintock, and Shane (as Fred Lewis). He passed away in 1979 at the age of 76.
