This is a BEAUTIFUL King 2B SilverSonic trombone.
The King 2B is one of the most successful trombone designs ever, being virtually unchanged for over 80 years. The small bore is ideal for a sound that cuts through a section or for playing solos. The Silversonic trombone has a solid silver bell that, in my experience, focuses the sound and makes it darker AND more efficient. This one is in very good condition. Original lacquer is about 90% present and this horn looks great. Slide (see photo) shows very little wear at the stocking and is very good. Case is original. This one is a classic from the best years of the H.N. White company.
