elli buk collection--early MAX KOHL CHEMNITZ CLAMP odd cork on V part HEAVY

THIS ITEM IS----one of the many items i was lucky enough to get from the Awesome collector/dealer/curator ELLI BUK (google him), lots of science stuff, paper and Tools, a bunch of it i just dont know what it is for or from, so you can really find some neat stuff by checking my other auctions (syottoys) and searching for Elli Buk, or just search for Elli buk and others might have some of his cool stuff up. anyway
THIS ITEM IS: A NICE EARLY CLAMP, with a great script from MAX KOLH CHEMNITZ, if you are looking at this item i dont think i need to cut and paste info about the Max Kohl makers, if you dont know, try google. wear to the cork part on the v area, i guess this clamped to a table and helped support something delicate, but this is nice and heavy duty, very well made, as is to be expected from Max. AWESOME. can you use it....yes i can. late 1800's or early 1900's
