    EF Durand Dual Independent Valve Bass Trombone.
    Great playing Chinese 7B clone trombone from EF Durand w dual independent triggers and 9 1/2 in gold brass bell. .562 bore and nickel silver slide.
    This horn really surprised me at how well it responded and free it blew. It’s a hit and miss w some Chinese trombones but this was good enough to be a back up horn and daily player for a couple months while I waited for my other horn to be repaired.
    The bell had a small crease in it and it was rolled out but can still be seen slightly. Nothing that effects the playing. The valves are responsive and fast, the slide is slick and rate it an 8/10. Both slide and valves have great compression.
    It’s a great horn for a student looking to learn bass or someone who needs a backup or inexpensive bass. This thing is a workhorse and would suite orchestral and/or jazz ensemble playing.
