    Description

    This beaver hat would display well , that being said it has had some repairs ,and not all of them were the best, some glue, some ragged edge, ect. The bill has had a break repair, and some bends , but over all still in average condition for a hat that dates from the early 1800's. When Lincoln wore a stove pipe hat , they had been out of fashion for quite a while, ten to fifteen years earlier was the hats fad, for this one. It is eight inches tall and the hats size is the opening is eight inches, so what ever that size is.
