We do not accept Hold Requests for items.

We ship though the USPS and most items are offered internationally. In the event an item would be too costly to ship to your country, please send us a message and we'll explore if there is a viable option.
We make every effort to estimate reasonable fees but sometimes an excess is paid by the buyer. When this is the case, we will promptly refund any difference.

In the event an item is damaged during shipping, please notify us immediately. Whenever possible, we would appreciate photos of the item and of the packaging so that we may take this up with the Post Office.
If the item was insured, we may ask that you hold on to the damaged item as well as the packaging while we make our claim with the Post Office.
We will refund you the amount paid for the item, including sales tax if applicable, but not the cost of shipping.

Everyone loves a bargain and we do, too! A reasonable offer of 10% or 20% off will usually be accepted. On occasion, our cost into an item doesn't leave that much room so we'll counter with the best we can do.
If you do not wish to carry on with the negotiation, f
eel free to send us a message to discuss what is the lowest price we will accept for the item.
We prefer to recycle shipping materials as much as possible. Your package may be shipped in a previously used box, carefully swaddled with newspaper, or packaged with used bubble wrap. We do our part as best we can to help maintain a healthy planet.
Been Pickin' Since 1991
We scour the Washington, DC metro area, picking for unique antiques and vintage items. Whether rusty, chipped, or just well-loved, every item has a story and our mission is to offer quality pieces that will enhance your story. The items in our store come from a variety of sources. Some are treasures we have curated while others are from various clients that we assist with liquidating their estate. We do research our offerings and will give you the best information available regarding manufacturers, patterns, styles, age, etc., but we are not experts on everything we handle. Some items are cleaned and reconditioned prior to listing in our store, while others are left in 'AS FOUND' condition and that will be noted. We do not always know if an item came from a smoker’s or pet owner’s home. Please feel free to drop us a note if you have questions regarding a particular item. We are always happy to talk shop!
