    Description

    The Cambodia 100 Riels banknote was released in 2001 by the National Bank of Cambodia with a pick number P-53. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty. The obverse of the paper bill portrays the Independence Monument which was established in Phnom Penh in 1958 as remembrance of the countrys independence from France. It also shows Naga which is a mythical serpent. The banknotes reverse portrays children outside a school building. The Cambodia 100 Riels holds a watermark that reflects a Khmer text. It is 130 x 60 mm and bears the signatures of Chea Chanto and Tieng Seng.
