It's BLACK because it has rubber compounds added to the formula.
THICKER than regular CA -
has good gap-filling capability.
It's up to 4 times as strong as regular CA and it dries slightly flexible, which makes it resistant to cracking. It is particularly ideal for high-stress and high-vibration applications.
Shock and Impact resistant
Humidity resistant, heat and thermal shock resistant
Excellent for gluing bulkheads and other items to fiberglass model airplane fuselages and fiberglass model boat hulls.
Excellent for attaching rubber tires to wheels on RC cars.
Excellent for working with composite materials (carbon fiber and fiberglass)

The viscosity rating is 4000cps, which is about twice as thick as regular thick CA.  It dries relatively slowly and will reach it's full strength (full cure) in 24 hours. Use this product relatively
quickly
- because rubber-toughened CA is not meant for long-term storage.    (I also offer in other sizes, see my ebay store listings)
4oz net weight. Supplied in a capped bottle, with a "Yorker" dispensing nozzle (PICTURED) which is appropriate for refilling smaller bottles or dispensing quickly.
