1946 WB4389 Bausch & Lomb Dust Counter Microscope Features: Unused, beautiful condition. No cracking of the power cord or squeeze ball/tube. Original wooden case. Everything has its place in the case, nice and tidy.  Illuminating light - looks like original bulb and still works! Camel hair brush.
What is a dust counter? It is a specialized microscope. You clear the viewing chamber of dust and then use the pump to get a sample of air (and dust) into the chamber. Then you count the dust particles on the grid. NOTE: this microscope is a special dust counter. It does NOT accept slides.
