Bach 42TG Bb/F Trombone with Thayer Valve

Description

The Bach Stradivarius 42TG is a professional large bore (0.547") symphonic trombone with a Thayer valve, open wrap F attachment, and one-piecegold brass bell. The Thayer valve provides for an uninterrupted airflow through the valve section. This makes the horn especially free-blowing, allowing the F attachment notes to match the open horn in both tone and feel. It also provides for a fuller low register.
This 42TG was actively played for two years after purchase in 2003 and is in top working condition. It has minor signs of use including some lacquer wear on the main slide, a shallow dent at the bottom of the slide (repaired best as possible), and a few light scratches on the bell. Case is missing one foot. Includes two mouthpieces: Bach 6-1/2A and Conn Lindberg 4CL.
