    single microscope or quizzing glass in worked bovine horn frame, most likely Asian of the 18th century
    .
    This fine and very rare single lens hand magnifier or quizzing / reading glass is most likely Chinese or Japanese and dating to the 18th century. It measures about 15 cm long.
    Condition is excellent and the lens is clean and undamaged.
