Antique Pincushion in English Sterling Silver Holder

Description

A wonderful antique (circa 1923) pincushion in an English sterling silver holder marked for Gourdel, Vale & Co., Birmingham, and dated 1923. The removable cushion is 2.5" wide and 2" high, and the pierced sterling holder is 1 and 1/8" high and 2.5" wide. The cushion fabric is deep coral with a hand crocheted top. Just lovely.
Condition: There is a slight "bulge" on the cushion edge which you can see in the pictures, and the base is misshapen.
